The Accommodation
Clonandra Cottages are available for groups of 4 to 30. Whether you are a golf society looking for a package or a group of friends looking to head away for a weekend, the Cottages are the perfect base. All our Cottages overlook Lough Garrow on the Cavan/ Fermanagh Border. If you are into fishing too then you’re in the right place.
All the cottages are fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge, TV and a washing machine. All linen is provided, and towels are available on request. The quaint village of Redhill’s is located only 2.5kms from the Cottages where you will find the Village shop, Murphy’s Bar and McCaffrey’s Bar.
The Golf
There is a total of 8 Golf Courses in County Cavan. Some of the most scenic in the Country. We have partnered up with 2 Courses in Cavan and 1 in Monaghan to give you the best golfing experience.
County Cavan Golf Course is a 15-minute drive from Clonandra Cottages. They provide a unique experience in the heart of the Lakeland region. Their spectacular course is carved through the natural drumlin terrain of Cavan. Many of the fairways are lined with mature trees, in particular, the last 4 holes, with water coming into play on the index 3, 15th hole. Their stately clubhouse provides a spectacular view of the 18th hole and fairway, which adds to the excitement right up to the last putt.
Belturbet Golf Club is situated only 10 minutes from Clonandra Cottages. This is a scenic but testing 9 hole, tree lined course. Established in 1948 it measures at 5,347 yards with a Par 68.
Clones Golf Club is set in the Drumlins of County Monaghan. This parkland course is a favourite of many and some would call it a hidden gem. This 18 hole golf course is open all year round.
Our Golf Package includes 2 nights stay at Clonandra Cottages, a welcome hamper from the Village shop (with the essentials like milk, bread, eggs, butter etc), 2 rounds of golf at your choice of the courses above, and an evening meal at one of the courses or a local restaurant.
